I started programming at around 9 or 10 years old with quick basic (on a 8086 laptop) and basica on comodora 64 using a book I received for christmas and with help from my dad, I then managed to learn Visual Basic, C++, .Net, PHP, Java, ASM, MASM … by myself with some reading, tutorials, trial and error and various projects 
Brought me to build a robot arm from hardware store parts on my 3rd year of high school, the year after I built a PC to DMX interface using a PIC16F84 as a serializer, a few years later I came up with a PBX configured in my basement with a Digium card, putting an IVR on my land line at home. I also programmed a stage lighting control software (ALC for Advanced Lighting Control) from high school grade 4 to cegep, building a new and improved version every year. I have become a specialist at automating various stuff using either hardware, web applications, standalone programs, etc.
I have recently spent a lot of time working on code, I am now going back to the roots with electronics, robotics and programming.
